I'm Joseph Kahan, a software developer based in Lakewood, NJ.

I'm an experienced software developer with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies. My technical stack includes Node.js, React, TypeScript, MongoDB, Docker, Next.js, Tailwind, Django, PHP, Laravel, and many other modern web technologies.

Currently, I'm working as a Lead Frontend Developer at Callpurity, where I focus on Next.js projects utilizing shadcn and Tailwind. I also collaborate on Django APIs and Supabase backend development. Previously, I spent nearly four years at Banquest Payment Services developing payment kiosks and processing applications, and worked on internal web applications at Palletfly.

I have proven experience managing cloud-based applications using Vercel, DigitalOcean, and containerized environments with Docker. I'm motivated and resourceful with success in rapidly gaining new technical skills, and I'm committed to writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code. I have experience working in agile environments and excel at problem-solving.
